Dr Jason Ward will provide an update on symptom management in palliative medicine. He will present on what’s new in symptom management. He will also discuss palliative care in patients suffering from non malignant disease.

Particular emphasis will be put on the practical aspects of dealing with the dying patient and symptom control. The aim of the meeting is to enable clinicians to become more confident in managing patients requiring palliative care.

The meeting is open to GP Principals, Salaried GPs, Locum GPs, Community Matrons and Nurse Practitioners working in PCTs in West Yorkshire only. When completing the registration form, please use your practice address (not your home address). Locums should use the address of one of the practices they work at.

We prepare a fixed number of delegate packs for each meeting. If you attend a meeting without registering we may run out of packs and therefore you will not be given an attendance certificate or presentation handouts.
